A few of my favorite things...

As I was looking through previous Galleries, I found this file and was reminded of why it is that I love working with flowers. They grow with sunshine, dirt and water. They decide when and how they will bloom and each petal or leaf is slightly different than the one next to it. There is a magic about each and every piece that once combined is simply Magic.

This Wedding was one in which I worked extra hard and put in twice as many hours because it just happened to be full of a few of my favorite things...

Succulents, Pincushion Protea, Liquid Amber, Circus Roses and Eggplant Calla lilies.

Thank you Alisha and Jim Savage. I love your style and I am reminded of why
these remain some of my favorite things.

Plus... the couple chose to take pictures in front of this old barn, which was across the road. And ...                                         Wow. A perfect backdrop for these beautiful photos.

Thank you to Zorn Photography for capturing all these detail shots.

Wild and Free

When someone gives me a few photos they like but then says.... But I trust you completely. Well....

This is what happens. I have a blast creating and the bouquet ends up so full and quite heavy that only a "crossfit trainer" could hold it with one hand. Thank you for this opportunity Katie. I truly LOVED creating this for your Wedding day.
I named it Wild and Free

I started with roses, dahlias, hypericum, astilbe and tulips then framed it with eucalyptus,
 agonis and hanging amaranthus.

Thank you to the very talented and sweet, Shannon Rosan for capturing this.

Gorgeous Shot!!

This arbor was draped with fabric and a eucalyptus garland, a perfect background.

Congratulations Katie and Glenn! I loved being a part of your special day.

A lovely day in September

This past September two of our favorite souls Promised Forever at one of our favorite Wedding Venues. Josie and Jaime's Wedding at The White Ranch was Absolutely Perfect. The White Ranch was the perfect spot to coordinate with their unique style. There was texture everywhere.
The boutonnieres were made of craspedia balls, stellata pods, kangaroo paw and succulents.
The bouquet was comprised of succulents grown with love at Just This Ranch, dusty miller, craspedia balls, dahlias, stellata pods, kangaroo paw and pincushion protea.
Jaime wore a beautiful dress and veil...
And Josie also wore a beautiful dress. They both looked stunning.
The tables were clothed with white linens and burlap runners. There were potted succulents and recycled bottled filled with lush blooms and unique textures.

It was a romantic ceremony followed by a fabulous party. These two were made for each other!
It was so much fun to create for them. Love Them. Love their Style. Love These Photos.

And.... just one more photo of these precious little succulents. I went a little crazy over them. They were just too cute!

Ann-Chi and Anthony...

A bouquet made of shades of grey and purple. A beautiful Couple and A sunny day in October. When one eye doctor falls in love with another eye doctor... glasses are a must. This couple did one of my favorite things. They chose wedding invitations with two pair of glasses on them and thus we carried the theme through. I think "Lovely Layers" did an Amazing job on this one. Its Amazing. A true work of art.

Amnesia roses, eggplant callas and dahlias, purple lisianthus with dusty miller and eucalyptus.
The White Ranch was the perfect venue for this event. It's naturally beautiful and inspires creativity.
The romantic event was captured by Shannon Rosan, aka Photographer Extraordinaire!! Thank you!
Fun Sunglasses were hung on jars and bottles to carry their theme into the centerpieces. Sun a fun, simple way of making the Day... Yours.
A box full of boutonnieres...
Thank you again to my very talented friend Shannon Rosan for thes beautiful photographs.
